Volunteer with the Youth Civics Initiative

The Youth Civics Initiative is seeking volunteers to read Sofia Valdez, Future Prez by Andrea Beaty to elementary students in Ramsey County from February to May 2025. This is a great way to engage young people in a story about leadership and community impact. After each reading, a copy of the book will be left in the classroom library.

If you’d like to sponsor a case of books, the cost is $300. Partial donations are welcome. Thanks to Landon Ascheman for sponsoring last year’s books!
