June 27, 2025 (St. Paul) — Maya Missaghi will begin her year-long term as president of the Ramsey County Bar Association (RCBA) on July 1, 2025.

"I am honored to step into the role of Bar President for this year,” Missaghi said. “While I have no grand visions for my tenure, ‘keep calm and carry on’ comes to mind, which to me means continuing the great work and programs we have in place, remaining nimble and curious to the creative solutions an unexpected set of events may require, and doing my best to showcase how wonderfully diverse and quirky our local legal community is—and hopefully we can all have some fun along the way."

Missaghi is an associate attorney at Moersch, Dorsey & Hahn, P.A., where her practice includes estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters.  She is a graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law and Tufts University.

Missaghi has been involved in the RCBA as co-chair of the Diversity Committee and Youth Civics Initiative and as a member of the board since 2021.

Serving alongside Missaghi for the 2025-2026 bar year are Racey Rodne (President-Elect), Judge Joseph Meyer (Vice President), and Sheina Long (Secretary/Treasurer). Andrew Rorvig will serve as immediate past president. Cheryl Dalby serves as the CEO of the Ramsey County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, and Hennepin County Bar Association.

The Ramsey County Bar Association (RCBA) is a professional organization and Minnesota’s oldest district bar association. Since 1884, the RCBA has been dedicated to advancing the legal profession, fostering professional relationships, and promoting access to justice in Ramsey County. The association provides more than 3,000 attorney and law student members with a wide variety of opportunities including continuing legal education, practice resources, networking and social events, and leadership roles.
