Information on leadership opportunities within the association will be shared on this page, in the Hennepin Lawyer weekly e-newsletter, or emails sent from committee/section leadership. Applications are currently open and will close on Thursday, April 30.
Association Notice of Election
There are no openings on the HCBA board at this time.
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee shall nominate at least one nominee per officer or other election. No applicant shall communicate with the committee or any member of the committee about a matter relating to the committee's HCBA Notice of Election business, except through the chief executive officer.

Additional opportunities for service through committees and sections during the 2025-2026 bar year are available by presidential appointment or section elections. If you would like to be considered for a leadership position, contact CEO Cheryl Dalby.
Nominating Committee
About HCBFThe HCBF nominating committee looks for board members from the local legal community who are enthusiastic about initiatives to improve access to justice. Eligible individuals must be members in good standing of the Hennepin County Bar Association. Members of the HCBF board are elected to three-year terms and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms. Nominations for the HCBF board are currently open.
