MSBA Adopts Report: "Implications of Large Language Models on the Unauthorized Practice of Law and Access to Justice"

Following a presentation by the Minnesota State Bar Association's AI Working Group, Chaired by Damien Riehl, to the MSBA Assembly at its summer 2024 meeting, the association adopted the report: "Implications of Large Language Models on the Unauthorized Practice of Law and Access to Justice."

A standing AI Committee will be formed in the near future to continue monitoring and suggesting solutions for AI-related issues in the legal profession.
