The Ramsey County Law Library is offering regularly scheduled free Continuing Legal Education sessions.

This presentation will have a virtual and in-person options to attend. When you register you will be asked to indicate if you plan on being at the event in person, or attend virtually via Zoom.
To commemorate the 85th birthday of Minnesota Nobel Prize Winner Bob Dylan, Marshall H. Tanick will review some of the numerous occasions in which courts have cited or relied upon lyrics from the troubadour’s tunes in judicial decisions, as well as a few observations about other musical lyrics that have made their way into jurisprudence, including those of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, among others.
Presenter:
Marshall H. Tanick is a senior attorney with the law firm of Meyer Njus Tanick Linder Robbins, PA with offices in Minneapolis, Saint Paul and St. Louis Park. He has been a senior civil trial specialist with the Minnesota State Bar Association, consistently been named as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Minnesota and as a “Super Lawyer.” He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Stanford Law School. He is a frequent speaker and author at CLE and other events.
