This program explores disaster preparedness, succession planning, and practice continuity strategies. Participants will learn to identify operational risks, develop response plans, implement succession arrangements, and satisfy professional responsibility obligations during emergencies, disability, retirement, or death.
Participants will learn how to:
- Develop a law firm disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Identify ethical risks arising from sudden attorney incapacity or absence.
- Create effective succession and transition plans for solo and small firm practices.
- Protect client files, trust accounts, and confidential information during disruptions.
- Implement practical procedures to ensure uninterrupted client service.
