PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and better known as “forever chemicals,” are the focus of intense regulatory scrutiny and litigation activity.  The use of PFAS in a wide variety of products exposes manufacturers, and their insurers, to enforcement and litigation risks of such scope that some stakeholders have described PFAS as “the new asbestos.”
