Summary

Join us for a program discussing how Minnesota's law schools are planning to adjust given the many changes in the legal profession, including AI, the NextGen bar exam, and possibilities for new pathways to licensure.

How are law schools adjusting their curriculum and training methods to train law students lawyering skills such as client counseling, negotiation, and dispute resolution? How has the advent of AI like ChatGPT impacted the way law students interact with the curriculum? With all three of our local law schools receiving new Deans starting this summer; Camille Davidson at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Daniel Kelly at the University of St. Thomas School of Law; and William McGeveran at the University of Minnesota Law School; what other changes might be in store for Minnesota's future law students?
