Summary

While violent crime statistics continue to drop, reports show that many of our staff and the Minnesotans we serve feel more unsafe now than ever before. This CLE will provide practical tips and strategies public attorneys can use to guide their agencies in evaluating workplace threats and implementing threat assessment teams. The co-presenters will address the unique legal issues presented for threat assessment and threat assessment teams whether threats originate from inside or outside a workplace. Whether you represent a large state agency, an institution of higher education, cities, counties or a local planning body, threat assessment teams can enhance your agency's ability to manage threats.
