In anticipation of Mother's Day, we are presenting a program inspired by the book Law Moms: Juggling Motherhood, Ambition and Personal Fulfillment, which chronicles the real-life experiences of women navigating both the legal profession and motherhood. Featuring some of the book's authors from around the country including local attorney Sarah Soucie Eyberg, this presentation will delve into key themes and challenges highlighted in its pages, offering practical strategies and personal insights from attorneys who have faced similar struggles.

Participants will explore:

• The pressures of legal culture, including the impact of alcohol and mental health stigma, as discussed in Law Moms.
• Strategies for balancing career ambitions with family responsibilities, including making unconventional choices to prioritize personal fulfillment.
• Firsthand accounts of advocating for children with unique needs while managing a demanding law practice.
• The role of resilience, support systems, and self-care in sustaining a successful legal career and personal life.
