For Law Day 2025, the American Bar Association theme is “The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One.” This year’s theme asks us to reflect on our shared obligations, as one citizenry, to promote the common good and to engage in our country’s civic enterprise. Many Americans feel disconnected from each other and are having difficulty talking about issues on which they disagree, or they feel disengaged from and discouraged about their communities and governmental institutions. This CLE course will focus on people and programs that are working to bridge divides in our schools, communities, and local governments, to promote productive and collaborative problem solving, and to help us express our identity and values while coming together.
