Summary

The Twin Cities have been economically and racially segregated for decades, producing some of the worst racial disparities in America. This suggested that George Floyd was never an "if" but a "when." This CLE examines the political, economic, and geographic conditions that made George Floyd's death inevitable, and it argues that five years since his death the disparities that led to his death have largely not changed.
