Summary

Join us for this CLE and learn about attorney discipline in Minnesota from representatives at different stages of the process.  In this CLE, we will:

  • Provide an overview of the attorney discipline process and discuss the role of the various stakeholders and participants in the process
  • Explore frequently alleged ethical violations for public attorneys, such as conflicts of interest and ineffective assistance of counsel, and provide a brief rule refresher on frequently cited rules
  • Discuss the complaint and investigation process and provide general guidance to attorneys on how to navigate through the process
  • Provide law students and attorneys with insights on developing a career in the growing field of legal professional responsibility
