Summary

In an unprecedented policy under Operation PARRIS, individuals with refugee status across Minnesota are being subjected to an interview to review and revet the refugee claim that underpins their safety in the U.S. as refugees. Join the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) for a training that will cover the current legal landscape under Operation PARRIS and how to prepare pro bono clients for a refugee status revetting interview. Through this training, you will gain an understanding of what content will be covered in a revetting interview, how to work with a client to best prepare for an interview, and gain practical tips and best practices to effectively represent pro bono clients throughout the process.
