Summary

This presentation will feature a panel discussion with local law school professors on the Supreme Court's continued reshaping of federal administrative law. The topics to be covered include the changing standards for appointment and removal of federal officers and employees and what to expect from the Slaughter and Cook cases currently pending at the Supreme Court; the continued challenges to agency adjudication after the Court's 2024 decision in Jarkesy; and changes to judicial review of agency actions under the arbitrary and capricious standard and in a post-Loper Bright world.
