Summary

Everybody is talking about artificial intelligence and how it can impact law firms. Even in its current version, AI is an assistive technology for lawyers that can greatly reduce the time that attorneys spend on projects, both substantive and administrative. At the very least, artificial intelligence is the most important technology development for lawyers, since at least the adoption of cloud computing by law firms in 2008. At the most, AI is the most transformational technology development in the history of mankind.

That all sounds good, of course, but what does it actually look like to use AI in your law practice? What software could you use, and what sort of outputs would can you expect?

While many solo and small firm lawyers are very interested in learning about AI, not a lot of those attorneys are actually using AI in their day-to-day work. In this session, two panelists (a legal consultant, and a practicing lawyer) will walk you through various AI products that you can use in your law firm. They’ll show you how to leverage those tools in real-time & will take whatever questions you have.

Topics to be addressed include:

- who’s faster: real lawyers or artificial intelligence?

- using generative AI tools in law practice

- using legal research AI tools in law practice

- AI features in case management software

- using workflow/task management AI tools in law practice
