Did you know Minnesota’s lawyer discipline system relies on volunteers? The 4th District Ethics Committee is onboarding new members to investigate lawyer misconduct complaints. Submit a resume and letter of interest to DECCoordinator@courts.state.mn.us by noon on January 14, 2025. Training for new members will be held virtually on January 29, 2025, from 8–9:30 a.m.

Legal professionals face unique stressors that can lead to significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use issues, if left unaddressed. This program will explore the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of these challenges, offer well-being tools, and highlight resources like Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers to foster early intervention and mutual support.
