This series of three CLEs recognizes the 5th anniversary of George Floyd's murder in May of 2020, its impact on the legal system and legal professionals in the Twin Cities, and efforts made across private and public sectors to rebuild trust, access, support, and reduction of bias to the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community.
Attend one, two, or all three of these sessions. Each session course will count for one elimination of bias credit and will be held over the noon hour. All sessions are FREE for HCBA members.
The Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, and Ramsey County Bar Association stand together with the American Bar Association to defend the rule of law and reject efforts to undermine the courts and the legal profession.

After a competitive application and interview process, students from Minnesota law schools were matched with one of our 13 participating employers. They'll receive support from HCBA staff as they navigate their clerkships and gain hands-on professional skills.
Since 2005, the 1L Diversity Clerkship program has enriched future partners and leaders in Minnesota's legal community by providing clerkship opportunities for law students.
