Last July, Camille Davidson officially assumed her role as dean and president of Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Davidson was selected for her strong background as a scholar, administrator, and fundraiser, and brings legal experience in health law and bioethics. She shares what drew her to Mitchell Hamline and highlights the curriculum, programs, and strategies that are preparing students to launch successful legal careers.

Jeffrey A. Hassan, Esq. is the author of The Black Lawyer in Minnesota: 1973 to 2003. In this CLE, he will give an overview of the groundbreaking achievements of Minnesota's Black legal community over the last 50 years, including the founding of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers, landmark appointments to the bench, the Derek Chauvin prosecution, and other stories of resilience and principle-driven leadership. This CLE is a collaboration between the Hennepin County Law Library and the HCBA.
