Following the adoption of the NextGen bar exam, the Minnesota State Supreme Court created an Alternative Pathways Implementation Committee to further explore and develop experiential pathways to licensure, including a curricular and a supervised practice pathway. Join the Committee members for community conversations designed to share details about the proposed experiential pathways, answer questions, and gather feedback from members of the legal community.

Justice North—newly merged and inclusive of the former Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota—will be offering virtual Family Law Clinics on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, beginning February 4. As a volunteer attorney, you would meet virtually with three clients between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m., providing advice on a range of family law matters, with conflict checks and client materials shared in advance. Clinics are designed to be flexible, with options for phone or Zoom meetings and accommodations to meet your scheduling and communication preferences.
