JAMS, the premier provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Hon. Mildred E. “Mimi” Methvin (Ret.) has joined its panel. Judge Methvin brings decades of experience facilitating thousands of settlements during her distinguished 30-year judicial career on the federal bench. Appointed as the nation’s youngest federal judge, she served in the Western District of Louisiana and later in the Mid-Atlantic through recall service. Over her tenure, she conducted more than 1,200 settlement conferences and mediations, including complex class actions, collective actions and multiparty disputes. Since 2009, Judge Methvin has maintained a robust ADR practice, handling civil disputes nationwide. Based in the Minneapolis Resolution Center, she is available for in-person and virtual sessions across the country and internationally.
