Section Benefits and Activities

The Section, either alone or in tandem with local or national bar associations, sponsors seminars and informational exchanges to keep its members abreast of developments in these fast-changing fields. Section benefits and activities include:

• Section-sponsored CLEs with reduced registration fees for section members;

• Annual environmental Agency Update;

• Annual Environmental Law Institute (in conjunction with Minnesota CLE);

• Leadership opportunities on the Section Council and various committees;

• Summer Clerkship Program;

• Presentation of the Eldon G. Kaul Distinguished Service Award;

• Social and networking events;

• Public service volunteer opportunities;

• Section-only online community (list-server) for discussion of relevant topics with experienced colleagues.
