Minnesota Judicial Branch Self-Help Center

Online self-help center to assist people representing themselves in District Court, including a bank of court forms and instructions. The statewide self-help center can answer questions about forms and procedures by email or phone.

Lawyer Referral Services

Minnesota Lawyer Referral and Information Service (MNLRIS) connects persons with legal issues to one of over 200 qualified private attorneys practicing in over 50 areas of law. Referral counselors are available who can set up appointments with attorneys, provide general information about the legal process, and direct people to appropriate legal resources. Referral counselors are not attorneys; however, they can help clients focus on their legal issues and determine the type of assistance needed.
