The mission of the Section is to enhance the viability of attorneys practicing in Greater Minnesota and to identify and work toward solutions for the problems shared by those attorneys. The Section promotes active dialogue surrounding legal matters unique to rural legal practice as well as the growing concern for access to attorneys and access to justice in these Greater Minnesota. The Minnesota State Bar Association stands behind these members and as such, provides FREE Section membership to those with an active MSBA membership. To further close the gap on open outstate legal opportunities, the Section Council has created the Greater MN Legal Opportunity Map (GLOMap), which maps legal opportunities in areas outside of the metro.
