Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid will host the 45th Annual Law Day Dinner at the Minneapolis Hilton on April 23, 2026, featuring keynote speaker Neal Katyal and honoree Rick Hagstrom. The fundraiser, co-sponsored by the HCBA, starts with a reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner, a program, and a live auction.

The Hennepin County District Court held its annual Valentine's Day wedding celebration on Friday. 19 couples were married in ceremonies officiated by Fourth District judges, and each couple received a dollar coin to toss in the fountain to make a good luck wish.
