Summer associates are invited to a unique program hosted in partnership with the Minnesota Supreme and Appellate Courts, offering an inside look at appellate practice and the work of Minnesota’s judiciary. Held in the Minnesota Supreme Court Chamber at the State Capitol, the event will feature remarks from judicial leaders, insights into appellate advocacy and judicial clerkships, and an opportunity for Q&A. Attendees can also network during a coffee-and-cookie social and participate in an optional Capitol tour following the program.

Celebrate the end of the 2025–2026 bar year with the HCBA New Lawyers Section. Join us tonight at Zhora Darling for a happy hour featuring one complimentary drink, light appetizers, great conversation, and the chance to connect with fellow attorneys as we wrap up another bar year together.
The HCBA, MSBA and RCBA offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in recognition of Independence Day. There will not be a Hennepin Lawyer on July 2. We will resume publication on Thursday, July 9.
